Anyway to use analog stick like a mouse after opening links?

So I noticed while in normal mode, your analog stick acts as a mouse, while I was trying to find ways to add streaming services to LB/BB , It works pretty well just adding the link. however the controller stops working.

Is there anyway to set this? I tried google and it brought up way too many off topics results.
