Launch Box hanging while downloading metadata for roms

Hello! I've been having issues recently with trying to download images/metadata off of Launch Box. At certain points the blue bar will not move any further and just hang. If I try to cancel it continues to hang, so I have to close out the program and start again. I didn't have this problem a few years ago. Any advice?
