Jump to category/platform when button pressed

Hi guys,

I want to automate making bigbox navigate to a my light gun category when I pull a gun from the holster. When the gun is pulled it activities a button, is there a way I can tell eventghost or autohotkey to navigate to a category?

I guess not; is there anyway to have two instances of launchbox then with reduced games lists without recreating everything from scratch and duplicating the games?
