apeezyfosheezy Posted August 8, 2022 Share Posted August 8, 2022 Hi there, Is it at all possible to use a super resolution in bigbox? I’m trying to output this to my CRT standard definition tv at 2560x240 for 240p. I cannot get 480i to look good (too jittery from my pc) so I’d like to run it at 240p. I’ve spent literal days trying everything I could think of to make it look right and I just can’t figure it out. When booting into an emulator with super resolutions set up all games look fine. I just can’t for the life of me figure out how to make bigbox look right. Basically anything not 4:3 or 16:9 I can’t get to look right. The videos are mainly the problem. Sometimes the UI is fine but the videos always end up looking squished. If anyone has any idea how to fix this please let me know. If not possible I guess I’ll just have to use a second monitor for the bigbox interface but I really want to run it all on the one crt Thanks! InvaderJim Posted August 13, 2022 Share Posted August 13, 2022 (edited) I'm surprised there's room for videos at that low of a resolution. What theme do you use? I'm running BigBox at 800x600 and don't have any extra space. Have you tried creating a regular (non-super) 240p modeline just for BigBox? Maybe that'd work better.
