Groovymame / CRT Emu Drivers and Launchbox?

I have yet to try this, but I was wondering if anyone out there is using a Groovymame / CRT emu driver setup with launchbox.

(i.e., using Launchbox on a 15k/CGA monitor in an arcade machine).

I've always just had my mame machines boot to launch mame, and use the UI in Groovymame to select roms, without all the fancy images etc.

 

After setting up launchbox on a machine I have with a 19" LCD replacement for the original CRT, I am wondering if I can run this on an arcade monitor.

 

My thoughts would be some artwork that is not low-res is not going to jive.  I also don't know if Launchbox will even run at a low resolution.

I've got a groovymame + CRT set up, but have yet to try LaunchBox. Really I want to run at 320x240p; does LB go that low?
