dcpmark
New to PCs, LaunchBox/BigBox, emulators, and handheld gaming PCs, and I'm amazed how fantastic everything works, except Supermodel. I've tried to follow all the tips in the forums, with no luck. It launches and runs great, but..... 1) I cannot get it to fill the screen top to bottom in the middle of my screen The Onexplayer Mini Pro screen is 1920x1200, but I've got it locked to 1280x800 which works great across all emulators and PC games. I've tried a number of different resolutions in both LaunchBox and my PC, and nothing seems to help. When I add -fullscreen to my current res it centers the window but makes it even smaller. SOLVED 2) I see how to do key mapping in the .ini file, but I have no idea what name to use for the controller keys and analog triggers. For example, Daytona 2 worked out of the box using the the left stick to steer, pushing forward on the left stick for the accelerator, and pulling back on the left stick for braking. Obviously I'd like to use my analog right and left triggers instead. The coin in seems to be the center press of my right joystick....I'd like to change the coin in and start buttons, but I don't know what to change them to. SOLVED 3) I can't seem to be able to exit a game to get back to BigBox, although I've tried to follow the tips here. I tried assigning a button combo and used what I thought was the right Exit script, but it doesn't work. Thanks in advance for all your help! dcpmark
Ok, I'll bump my own thread to help out others, as I found a video to help with my first two issues. The correct resolution turned out to be 800x600 to fill the screen vertically while keeping the original resolution. Supermodel setup Turns out you don't need any special Exit AHK, it just works using the same button combo I already set up for the other emulators. ADDING an Exit AHK is what messed it up.
