Crash with massive data lost after opening LaunchBox

Hello everyone,

I have been using LaunchBox for about 2 years and I love it. However I am experiencing the following bug, which happened once last year and another time last week. I could not find anything similar on the internet.

Here is what happened. A few minutes after having quit LB, I try to open it and... it does not open, nothing happens on the screen. There is the same behaviour if I try to open BigBox.  When I look into the LaunchBox directories, most of them are now empty (\Data, \Images, \LBThemes, \Manuals, \Music, \PauseThemes, \StartupThemes, \Themes, \ThirdParty, \Video) and five remain intact (\Emulators, \Games, \Medadata, \Updates, \Sounds).

A temporary solution I have found is the next one. First, I have reinstalled LB. At this stage, opening LB works but it is cleared, not a single game in it. Second, I restore the games, along with the playlists, using the latest non-corrupted backup file (easy to find since a corrupted one is only a few kB whereas a non-corrupted is more than 100 kB). Since all media have been lost, they must be re-downloaded.

Would you have any clue about what happened ?
