Multiple controllers

Hi,

I’m sure this is relatively simple* but I’m stumped trying to setup emulator specific controllers.  Currently, I have a PS4 controller and a wired Dreamcast controller.  I have Launchbox 13.2 installed and Redream referenced as an emulator.  Outside of Launchbox - both the PS4 and Dreamcast controllers work a treat in Redream - in that, I can select the respective controller and they work with any DC game.

In Launchbox however, only the PS4 controller works within a Dreamcast game.

What do I need to do to get Launchbox to recognise the USB Dreamcast controller when launching a DC game from LB? I have tried turning off the PS4 controller to rule that out.   Settings seem limited - i have seen the LB Controller settings within Options and played about with enabling controllers and allowing all controllers - none of this appeared to work.  It feels like I’m missing something crucial but unfortunately, the internet/YouTube hasn’t helped as yet.

*I’m hoping this is simple, at least.  As I have authentic controllers and USB adapters for almost all systems - my grand plan is to have each system using its own controller.  I just happen to be caught at the first hurdle….

Thanks!

Ok, i've sorted this.

I suspect its very specific to my machine/install but - just in case its of any help:

Whilst mucking about in the controller bindings in Redream - I noticed the bindings wouldnt recognise keyboard input (despite the keyboard working).

I dont know if this was significant but this, coupled with the controller issues I had inside Launchbox, I decided to delete and re-install redream.  Pointed the LaunchBox emulator at the exe and bingo - it all works.
