Windows game management

Hi guys, I don't know if the section is right, 
I'll explain the problem: 
I wanted to make the PC become a console, 
using the big box as a launcher, but some games, 
when I go out, don't let me use the big box (I have to press first the mouse button) 
as if when exiting the game it doesn't go back to the bigbox screen but somewhere else, 
what can I do? Thank you
