What is the best modern monitor/TV to use for dos era gaming ?

Hi - looking to buy a PC for dos era gaming and 16 bit and MAME too. Struggling to find good advice in terms of the best monitor / tv to buy that will make the graphics as close to viewing on a CRT as possible ie, as I remember them. I am told an OLED monitor might be a good option but don’t have much more to go on than that. Any thoughts / recommendations welcome. Thanks
