Launchbox won't recognize 80's classic Defender! SOLVED

Hi folks, I'm trying to import some 80s arcade classics before the holidays into my Android Shield Pro Launchbox/Retroarch setup, and everything's going smoothly except for my dad's favourite game, Defender. When I go to import the games it just doesn't show up in the list, like Launchbox doesn't recognize the ROM or something. I've tried a couple different revisions of the ROM as well but no dice.

I've tried selecting and deselecting the "recognize short MAME names" option to no avail, and I see some other people have had success importing this ROM so any advice would be appreciated!

edit: SOLVED! It looks like the latest stable release of MAME doesn't even recognize Defender (???) but switching to MAME 2000 fixed the problem. To import the game I had to change the Arcade default emu to MAME 2000, import the missing games, then switch the default back to MAME and then manually change each game to use MAME 2000.

Lesson learned, make sure everything works locally in Retroarch before debugging on the TV!   😂
