Game Detail Window Fade in settings

I have just got around to dealing with this, but several updates ago when the new default theme was changed, the game detail window began to have a slower fade in with the new theme. Is this a feature that can be adjusted somewhere (interface of xml) or so it snaps more quickly than it did previously or is it a result of something else?
