What is the correct way to upgrade MAME emulator version when you have a LB managed version?

When defining my  MAME 262 emulator within LB I allowed LB to manage the emulator instead of using an externally installed one.  Now that MAME 263 has been released, what is the correct way to upgrade the version that LB manages?
