steamdeck controller issues playing roms in bigbox

im having issues trying to play roms linked from hyperspin-fe, rocket launcher via moonlight/sunshine steamlink to the steam deck all works well except when it comes to the controls on the steam deck i cant get them to work has anyone got the same issue or a solution?

I ran into something similar with my Steam Deck when using Moonlight for some emulated games. What helped me was going into the Steam Input settings and tweaking the controller configuration for those specific games. Sometimes just remapping the buttons can fix the issue. Also, I found that launching games directly from Steam instead of through Hyperspin worked better for me.

sometimes only the controller that is chosen as the first one or as the second one will work. try changing your controller order.
