Enabling Cheats

I am running Launchbox 13.15 at the moment and am using MAME to launch ALL of my Arcade Dumps.  I am able to run the games fine with the exception of using cheats.  I can run Cheats with no issues under straight MAME but when I launch MAME thru Launchbox and hit the TAB key I am not presented with the cheats menu.  I understand that Launchbox is just a launcher but cannot figure out what's going on.  Also I found that the sound is not working on any of my console emulators.  Ive read that the versions or the emulators I am using are old but not sure what not sure what else to do

Adding the cheat files manually to the right folder worked for me. Just make sure those files match the game version. I ran into a similar hiccup trying to use arma reforger cheats and realized the cheat engine setup needed to be run as admin, or it wouldn’t hook properly. Also double-check if the game has anti-cheat that needs disabling first.
