mrnemo1176
This is a complicated issue that has been driving me nuts for a couple weeks now. I have a MAME cabinet using two of these USB encoders from The Geek Pub. https://www.thegeekpub.com/product/usb-encoders-for-arcades-1-pack/ I have been using them without issue for about a year now. But suddenly they suddenly they started wreaking havoc in BigBox acting like random buttons and stick movement is being pressed without any physical interaction whatsoever. I have attached a video for reference. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers through Device Manager. Disconnected and reconnected the USB. Checked windows update for driver updates. Reboot the PC (Windows 11) and nothing seems to work. One odd thing I noticed is when I first installed them a year ago, Windows recognized them in the Settings>Devices menu as "THE GEEK PUB" but now shows "Pro 0ontroller". They will revert back to "THE GEEK PUB" if I unplug and plug them back in but reverts back to "Pro 0ontroller" when I reboot the PC. I am at a loss and honestly at my wits end. Google has yielded no real answers to this specific problem. I'm hoping someone else out there uses or has used these particular USB encoders and possibly had a similar problem and can maybe lend some advice. Thanks in advance 20240808_203951.mp4
