isuftin
At some point I installed ExoDOS. ExoDOS came with its own LaunchBox installation. When loading the LB that came with ExoDOS, there's a dialog box that comes up that discusses the ExoDOS FAQ, etc and asks if you want to launch a website to read it. It says that the dialog box will continue appearing until you launch the website. Unfortunately, when launching regular LB, the dialog box comes up on LB load and even if launching the website, does not go away. I'll also ask in ExoDOS forums, but I wonder if there's somewhere in the LB config files that this may be set or, is it more likely, in the Windows registry? Wondering if anyone has thoughts or if this is a question for the ExoDOS forums.
Solution isuftin Posted September 7 Author Solution Share Posted September 7 Answering my own question: From the exodos discord, the exodos launchbox should have a file in eXo/utils/ named FAQread.txt (attached) The contents are: Congrats, you've read the FAQ! I don't know why my non-exodos launchbox was having this problem but I just created eXo/utils directory in Launchbox's root dir, placed that file in there, restarted launchbox and the popup was gone. That was annoying FAQread.txt
