LB and ePSXe

i use ePSXe for playstation games.
If i directly launch ePSXe and load a game, my controller works.
However, if i am in launchbox  and load the same game (using ePSXe), my controller doesn't work.

In Lauchbox emulator settings for ePSXe, i see these commands: 
-nogui -slowboot -loadbin

Would these be the reason my controller does not work if i launch ePSXe from launchbox?
