Baby step 1 to launchbox fully installed

Hi people 

Absolute amateur here I'm a bit overwhelmed by the amount of videos relating to downloading the launchbox app.

When I go to a set up guide it seems to be missing vital steps to get to the next stage.

 

So here is my current setup I have a lenovo TB-J606F tablet,external 512gb sandisk memory stick,Samsung S21 Mobile phone.

I am hoping to get some retro arcade games on to my nvidia shield pro.  Can this be achieved???

 

Is there a guide from step 1 as in ....goto Google search engine put in launchbox then step 2 ......step 3 ........an so on 

 

What is the bare minimum tools required to complete the task?

 

Sorry for my ignorance here folks but looking for some nostalgia

I searched "how to install MAME and Launchbox" in Google, which then gave me links for "how to videos" on YouTube. You'll also need to search how to find roms on Reddit and you'll get posts that includes the name you're needing to search on Google. You'll need a torrent zip program. I did all of this last week on my PC and had all of the 1980's arcade classics up and running with MAME and Launchbox in no time. The YouTube videos helped explain in detail where to put the roms and nice walk throughs explaining how to setup Launchbox to work with MAME.
