Stream Deck works in LaunchBox desktop mode but not Big Box

I have a Stream Deck button mapped to a hotkey for save states in my emulators and a different button mapped for load state. When I launch a game via LaunchBox desktop mode, it works perfectly. When I run the same games via Big Box, it does not work. Any ideas??
