Game stuck on "Installing..."

Hi I clicked on FTL thinking I had it installed in Steam locally but I didn't, so it ran the Steam install process.

It worked, the game is installed and I can play it through Steam, but in Launchbox it's stuck on "installing" and even after several reboots it hasn't changed.  How can I get this to realize it is already installed?

I'm having the same issue with Doom Eternal anyone know how to fix this? It just keeps spinning and saying it's installing in Launchbox

I ended up adding the game executable as an "additional application" and setting it as default.  That got rid of the installing graphic and it still runs.
