big box as a shell issue after update

Hello,

I have an arcade setup which has been working fine with big box shell being used to bypass all of the windows logins and quickly get into games. Tonight I did an update via the big box program and unfortunately there seems to be issues with it as my machine no longer logs into anything, just shows bios screen, base windows login and then black screen as per my video.

I tried to find anyway to log into windows via the bios to a safe mode which would hopefully bypass the BB shell launcher but had no luck. Is there anything I can do here besides wiping my OS drive and starting again? 

As much of a time save it is using the shell launch, i think it might be better to stick with launching it via the windows boot if i can get it fixed.

I have been able to get into explorer and Copied a previous startup backup into the data drive and replaced all of the files but still loading straight into the black screen. Ive also disabled the bigbox service in the "startup" of task manager but it still is loading into a black screen. Is there any other way i can revert bigbox back to not loading as a shell? Or is my only option to uninstall launchbox and reinstall a new version and hope that fixes it? 

 

Side note, I have hyperspin on the OS drive as well and that worked fine, so its not the drive, its definately something related to LB / BB.
