Unable to download metadata for ROM hacks from LaunchBox Games Database

I'm trying to semi-automate metadata download for some ROM hacks. In particular, I'm trying Pokemon Radical Red (a ROM hack of Pokemon FireRed) and Pokemon Yellow Legacy (a ROM hack of Pokemon Yellow).

Here are the steps I'm following in an attempt to download metadata: I set the title in the metadata menu to the correct title (i.e., "Pokemon Radical Red". I've also tried "Pokémon Radical Red" with the accent on the e) and double checked that it matches the title on the games database (https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/144616-pokemon-radical-red). I then select "LaunchBox Games Database" under "Search", then I select "Search", and finally the app moves to a screen that says "No results were found.".

I'm not sure if I'm doing anything obviously wrong, especially since it seems to work just fine with original ROMs (e.g., I tried the same process with Pokemon FireRed and it worked just fine). The metadata download process also works on the PC client, so this seems to be an Android-specific issue.
