FMLB Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Hello i have a situation, would i like to get help/solution I have my roms games stored in a nas, the nas have 2 ip adress (lan in home and with tailscale for remote acess) The option to download and play the game who exists on launchbox android its perfect for me. The problem for me is when im out of lan home, stay in another place, travel… etc (with diferent ip), i can't download and play the Game. Play the game is only possible when i have already donwloaded in the device. My configuration is above: NAS IP1 (LAN at Home) xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx IP2 (Tailscale) yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy My device who has the problem, have android 10 running. The IP2 works fine when i'm stay connect in home. When im stay out, i can acess the nas manualy (out of launchbox android) with the ip2 with tailscale and works fine, my problem is how to identify the nas in launchbox and work well? I tried this 2 situations above and dont work, when im : 1) Import the roms again (out of lan home), but don't localize the nas (says its sleep…), but i the device acess normaly the interface of nas (out of launchbox) 2) Tried to modify the file .xml (inside of LaunchBox/data/Platforms) manually insert the ip adress of the rom (IP2) changes and got the message (No saved network credentials were found). This process will dispend a lot of time, cause need to edit manualy each rom adress on xml file, but i tried to see if works. But dont work. Were i can insert the credentials to run? Have another form to this work? I tried to find a topic/read similars, but i cant solve this. Quote

FMLB Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 1) you have checked and updated flag to beta versions on option menu? (you need to check this option on menu and update your launchbox android tonthe last version)? 2) confirm you now see the new option appears "manage nas" on option menu.? 3) Now you have the options above in the nas management: Login As Guest Edit Credentials Change Ip Address Verify Connection Scan Network Drives For me work on this form above: 1) put login as a guest to reset the credentials (my nas dont have acess as guest) 2) first login in my local lan, find the nas and add the roms, dont try to do this via tailscale (for me dont work) 3) now you can edit the ip adress (for tailscale acess) and the credentials if you want, i believe will work for you. If you put direct the ip adress of tailscale on first login, dont work, i cant find the nas. If you see two connections on Nas Management you can exclude one of than, you login as a guest and exclude the one if you dont use. You can always use only one connection (via tailscale). The other changes... xml, etc launchbox do it automatic... Quote
