Streaming emulation from big box recommended devices

Hi

i would like to stream bigbox to a laptop or purchase something like a steam deck, I understand we can use things like sunshine and moonlight or Apollo and Artemis to stream but most of the videos on youtube focus on console games with gamepads, what do you find works for those games that rely on mouse and keyboard ie point and click scumm,  and the amstrad, spectrum, bbc micro games that don’t support controllers , do you just play those directly on the pc? And for more recent games like total war etc.   Would be nice to be downstairs with the family on the sofa rather than locked away in the study !  What are your favourite devices that support these type of games via streaming from bigbox ?
