Hi, recently, LaunchBox started crashing on startup.

When I run LaunchBox.exe, the frame of the inital loading screen appears for a bit, then disappears, I can see the process in Task Manager, then it disappears and it doesn't launch and doesn't show any error message.

I checked this forum, it suggests the Event Viewer so I got this:

Launchbox startup errors.evtxLaunchbox startup errors.txt

(Running BigBox.exe works fine)

It says: "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

My computer has been showing me errors with a hard drive for some time, but doesn't specify what drive and never finds any errors. I tested the drive LaunchBox is on (Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 500GB, 6 years old, 50.2 TB written) with Windows tools and Samsung Magician and there seem to be no issues. Moving the install to another drive also doesn't help (though if the files were corrupted, the corruption would probably move with them...)

It has also ocurred to me that "memory" might mean RAM.

Time for a new SSD, RAM, or could this be something else?

Edit:

The logs mentioned problems with a file C:\LaunchBox\Core\System.Drawing.Common.dll, so I pulled up a backup, the files did not match so I replaced the current file with the one from the backup and it started working again.
