Using two separate mame builds on Bigbox, one for vertical games

Hi there.

Hoping somebody can help point me in the right direction. I have a mame build running well on Bigbox, but the issue is that it stretches my vertical games out to fit my 16:9 widescreen monitor. I can change the settings to squash them down to 1:! pixel ratio, but it then displays my horizontal games at 4:3 (Yep, the correct original ratio) but I really need to keep the 16:9 stretch for them as the screen is quite small (23")

Is there any way to create a separate platform for Mame vertical games, where I can add a different Mame version, with that core set up to display the verticals rotated to horizontal but at the correct ratio, pointing at a directory of vertical only games? I tried it but when I launch Bigbox, it gets confused at having two Arcade platforms and displays a crappy looking placeholder instead of the lovely system that comes with the Theme. Or possibly, can I point a game in Launchbox to run only with that other version of Mame when it is launched from Bigbox?

TIA!
