MAME high score support

Hello, today I want to solve the problem, why my high scores are not being uploaded.

I think all settings are correct, also logged in to Launchbox database and RetroAchievements with valid logins as registered user.
But my root MAME directory is set to another drive, just because I do not want any updates to cause additional work for me than just to hit the "Import Mame full set button".

I have attached my debug log and as expected hi2txt still searches in the Launchbox-based root MAME-folder.
Well, it is still the root folder, but I redirected possibly all folders like hiscore, nvram through mame.ini, as you can see here:

Is there any way to give hi2txt the proper root-folder for MAME? It does not seem to take it from the mame.ini.
Or is this part of the "anti-cheat" rules and it has to access exactly the Launchbox-based root MAME-folder?

btw, I am using the Unofficial Mame highscore.dat from here: https://highscore.mameworld.info/
I do not know if this is still necessary, as MAME seems to have its own highscore.dat file at the right spot in <MAME-root>\plugins\hiscore

I have changed all relevant folders back to the Launchbox-based MAME root.
Funny, Vulcan Venture works, I had a valid entry in the Online highscore list right after quitting the game.

 

Gradius/Nemesis Arcade (JAP) still won't work.
It does not create an entry in the hiscore-folder (no nvram), despite having everything in place.
Is this a known issue?

PS: Also tested Gradius (World) not working....
Gradius has no Plugin entry....
Vulcan Venture has.

gradiusb works, gradius does not. Despite highscore.dat stating stating this:

So issue, which was not really an issue, solved.
Seems that "gradius, nemesis, nemesisuk" highscore support is not working at times. Only gradiusb - the US version
