Image downloads do not resume after restart despite ImageQueue.xml being present

Hello,

I’m having an issue with image/media downloads not resuming after restarting LaunchBox, and I’d like to confirm whether this behavior is expected or if I’m missing a setting.

Scenario:

  • I start downloading images/media (via Download Images and Metadata).

  • I close LaunchBox normally (File → Exit, no crash or force close).

  • An ImageQueue.xml file is created and contains what appears to be valid pending download entries.

  • When I start LaunchBox again, no downloads resume, no notification appears, and nothing happens.

What I’ve tried:

  • Verified that ImageQueue.xml exists and is not empty.

  • Waiting several minutes after launch in case it starts silently.

  • Triggering a refresh by navigating platforms and views.

  • Testing with a completely clean LaunchBox installation (same behavior).

  • This happens consistently.

LaunchBox shows a notification when downloads start indicating that they can continue after restarting the application, so I assumed this behavior should be active by default.

My questions:

  • Is there any option or setting that needs to be enabled to allow download resuming?

  • Is automatic resume of image/media downloads actually supported, or is it conditional/limited?

  • Under what circumstances is ImageQueue.xml supposed to be picked up and resumed on startup?

Any clarification would be appreciated, as I want to understand whether this is expected behavior or a configuration issue on my side.

Thanks in advance.
