BigBox wont start in correct startup view.

i am using the eclipse theme on win11 newest BB version.  when launching BB it starts with a "Platforms" list; however, i saved the setting for it to open in "Playlists" view.  although the setting is saved and appears after restart, BB continues to launch to "Platforms."  Any ideas?
