Adding Roms now takes forever for some systems

Since the last update, adding games (to the PS4 catagory especially) literally takes 10 mins sometimes. That is with emumovies art turned off.  Even though i am directly dragging the eboot.bin into launchbox, it comes up with a "searching for roms, this will only take a moment" which as i said, will "search" for about 3-10 mins.  

 

Is this a bug? or a glitch?

(feature?  heh)
