borissuworov Posted Sunday at 03:20 AM Posted Sunday at 03:20 AM (edited) I'am 30 years old designer, IT-specialist... and I like videogame popculture. Just started to create my own library of unique versions of old PC games (portabled and patched with mods) with Playnite frontend for Windows. I covered games to ISZ images (it reduse size of every game according of zip algorythms and make a single object from couple of files) with UltraISO application, and then use Daemon Tools interfaceless utility (as somekind of game-emulator thru Playnite) to fast-mount it to Virtual Drive (y:\) for playing. Is someone here who already try to do something like this? Also I want to ask wise-users of Launchbox site about what best virtual-conteiners you use to save your games (like CHD for PS1, and CSO for PSP) Today my collection rised to over 50 games in just 11-12 GB of memory total (playnite, daemon tools, isz-images, posters). There is also examples of completed, optimized, golden and standalone examples of OpenBOR, Mugen, ZDoom, SNES MSU-1, Sega MD+ and offcourse Win-PC projects. I can share it all in one archive, if someone interesting. Later will try share screenshots of it here. Edited Sunday at 03:31 AM by borissuworov Added tags, and more details to message Quote
