sing904 Posted Tuesday at 12:58 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:58 AM Hi all, any workaround to make launchbox android use internal storage as data folder and game cache (download from NAS) and extracted ROM (auto unzip while game start) auto store and load from sd card? My purpose is to load the game media from internal storage and all cached/extracted games stored in external storage. I have tried to set the data folder to root of internal storage/Launchbox and manually edit every platform metadata to load game from SD card, it works perfectly if the game (no pre-extract needed) are stored in SD card. But the game that was zipped or pointed to NAS, all the extracted data and downloaded data are automatically saved to the internal storage that followed the path of data folder that assigned in LB setting . Hi! Thanks for the detailed description. You’re right about how it works today: downloaded NAS games are saved to <Data folder>/Game Cache, and auto-extracted ROMs go to <Data folder>/Extracted. Neither location can be changed separately from the data folder yet, which is why your downloads and extractions end up on internal storage. We’ll add two new options under Options > General: Game Cache Folder: where games downloaded from your NAS or cloud storage are saved Extraction Folder: where zipped/7z ROMs are extracted when you start them Quote
