  1. Finally after some perseverance I have managed to get it working. 1. I configured the PS button (Button 13) as the Hotkey and "Options" (Button 10) to "close the active window". 2. In the Exit AutoHotKey Script tab for Supermodel3, I inserted the line "Process, close, supermodel.exe" This works.
  2. OS:Win10 Controller: PS4 Dual Shock 4 Not using 0.2a 64-bit version. Using a later version. Are you using 0.2a? I am going to unbind all of the buttons within Supermodel and see if it helps plus install 0.2a 64-bit.
  3. The automation is hit or miss. I have tested this by running Launchbox and opening File Explorer and pressing the hot key+button to close File Explorer. Sometimes it works and other times it does not. However each time I press the hotkey+button I briefly see the "hour glass" /windows circle on the mouse pointer so I know its doing something. However this does not close a full screen or windowed Supermodel emulator.
  4. Thanks. That part is clear. How about the script? Does the text "StartupEXE" need replacing with "supermodel.exe"? Also Supermodel still terminates with the Esc key without the script! ; This section closes Sega Model 3 Emulator when pressing Escape $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}}
  5. Hi Retro808 - I don't understand as the only thing in Input > Automation within Launchbox that is related to exiting is "close the active window". Could you explain in a little more detail? Much appreciated.
  6. Is it possible to exit the Sega Model 3 emulator via the game controller? I know its possible via the keyboard by doing this adding a script: ; This section closes Sega Model 3 Emulator when pressing Escape $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}}
  7. That cabinet is a blast from the past Maybe something like a Logitech trackball mouse would be best for the shooting games for accuracy.
  8. Thanks for sharing this. Star Wars now works quite nicely with the DS4 analog controls. Using the same settings on the shooters such as Operation Wolf or Operation Thunderbolt does not produce the same result.
  9. Thanks Joe, My games do not launch with the -keyboardprovider dinput command-line so I had to remove it from the Emulation setup. I am using MAME64.EXE and this switch is not supported. Therefore I cannot recreate what you just posted. Any ideas?
  10. Has anyone managed to tweak their DS4 /Xbox controller's analog controls to play nicely with Mame shooting games such as Operation Wolf /Thunderbolt, Star Wars etc? I have tried adjusting the analog controls sensitivity in Mame for the specific game without much success. Its only decent with a mouse but this is not ideal as I play on the couch. Could someone share their settings. If these settings cannot be tweaked or improved dramatically then does anyone have experience with an air mouse or trackball?
  11. All sorted. I donated to emumovies and scraped all of the content through Launchbox and downloaded the emumovies unified themes. Everything looks great.
  12. Thanks Headrush and Lord.I will stick with Native Mame 0.169 as everything just works.
  13. I have a nice collection of ROMs that are all zipped to .7z format and use BigBox with standalone Mame 0.169. Is there any benefit in using BigBox with Retroarch instead? I ran into issues with scanning my .7z rom files with a few different versions of the Mame cores such as Mame, Mame 2015 and Mame 2016. I.e. the scan process started then froze at 2%. Is Mame 2015 the correct version in Retroarch for ROMs that work with Mame 0.169? I think my roms are merged as they contain other folders. Many thanks
  14. Hello, I have 100 Arcade only Mame ROMs and I just came across the superb Unifed theme and really like the Arcade Platform view with the Arcade machine on the left playing the video snaps and vertical wheel on the right. 1. Is there anyway of setting this as the Default startup view in "Options" or by editing one of the files? 2. Is there a way of tweaking this theme so that the All Games view resembles the Arcade platform? 3. Last one: My version of Unified looks nothing like the superb demos. Is this simply because I need to download the Unified cinematic video snaps from emumovies?
