With multi disc games i have (Disc 1) in the title, id rather not see that, also Daytona USA: Championship Circuit Edition Championship Circuit Edition. I seen an old post from 2017 and the reply said View > Show/Hide > Version. I don't have a Version in my Show/Hide, it only lets me show or hide the side bar, button bar, scroll bar, game details and side bar icons. Does anyone know how to hide version from the titles? [EDIT] I solved it. I had to drag the game details window to enlarge it then when I looked in Show/Hide, version appeared.

Can you post a screenshot of your associated platforms window? Not sure if I will be any use but someone else might notice something

Did you try creating a new entry for psx with the core and delete the original, like I did above? That solved it for me

Solved. I had to make a new retroarch entry in associated platforms identical to the default with platform, core, and default emulator. then delete the original entry. it seems like some sort of bug because all the information i entered to point it to the core is exactly the same as launchbox was trying to use before. hopefully if someone else has similar problem with the mednafen psx core or any other they could try this. not sure why it worked but it did.

Yes the Playstation games work from within RA with the Mednafen beetle HW core. the problem is just launching them from Launchbox. also i can launch RA for other platforms with LB.

No success. I have to get some sleep now i can think straight. thanks for all your patience and assistance. ill have another try tomorrow and let you know how i get on

when i right click on a game a select open game folder this is where it is launching from

all My LaunchBox game folders are empty. i keep all my games in a different location. the cues and bins are still trying to launch from the same location as each other.

when i imported the files in Launchbox and it asks me if i would like to move the files i said no. does this mean both the cue and bin i am saying no to?
