  1. Manuals, artwork, soundtracks, documentaries are always good to see. Presentation makes a big difference - love the Atari 50 collection which is almost a game in itself as you work through the history of the company.
  2. I think the main aim of a remaster should be to introduce a classic game to a new audience while making it more playable for those of us who played it before. Better controls, updated graphics and sound while keeping the essence of the original. Having the originals included is always a bonus. It's why the C&C collection was so good. If I could see any game remastered it would be Midwinter for the Atari ST. I loved it when it came out, despite it being hard to control. A new version would be amazing. Nightdive Studios are one of the best at remasters, they obviously love the games they work on.
  3. Off the top of my head, collections I would like to see (in the style of the Atari 50 collection with supplementary stuff like documentaries) Bioware Rockstar Bethesda id Software Rare (with the missing games included)
  4. My favourite (retro) games to play with mates: Championship Manager / Football Manager (PC) (although waiting for your turn could get annoying) Mario Kart 64 / GoldenEye (N64) Stunt Car Racer (Atari ST) (first LAN experience - still remember struggling to get my monitor + ST to mate's house, played in same room back to back 😂) Wii Sports (Wii) Sensible Soccer (Amiga)
  5. X-Com Collection (1994-2020)
  6. Impossible to narrow down, but the 5 games that have had the biggest impact on me over the years (and yes I'm old enough to have played them all at launch) The Hobbit (1982) - ZX Spectrum Super Mario Kart (1993) - SNES UFO: Enemy Unknown (X-Com: UFO Defense) (1994) - PC GoldenEye 007 (1997) - Nintendo 64 Grand Theft Auto III (2001) - Playstation 2 Just noticed that hamsnibit has just posted before me. Almost the exact same reason for listing their favourite games - impact. I've not listed any games from the last 20 years although there would be loads. These are the first 5 that really made my jaw drop.
