  1. Hi everyone. I am new to using Launchbox, BigBox and Retroarch. I just got it the other day and surprisingly, after alot of configuration, I actually almost have everything setup. The last piece that is driving me insane is is getting my Dualshock 4 controller to work properly. When I use Retroarch, Launchbox, and even Big Box completely outside of steam as if it were a normal program on my PC, my controller works great. No issues whatsoever. However, when I try launching any of these programs through steam Big Picture Mode or through the steam link, it goes insane. Now, here is the even weirder part. Before I bought Launchbox premium/Big Box, I tested out my DS4 controller on regular Launchbox through Steam Link and it worked. Granted, I needed a mouse to navigate the menus, but once I got into a game, the controller worked. For some reason, after buying Big Box, it will not work through Steam Link anymore. Once again though, I have tried Retroarch and regular Launchbox with Big Picture mode both on my PC and Steam Link and that just won't work anymore. Once I close Steam on my PC and try using my controller again, it seems to go back to normal again. I have tried searching every forum post I can and nothing seems to fix the issue. Its like one minute the controller works fine and the next it goes nuts and starts thinking the controller is pressing hotkey buttons like fastforward and exit game instead of the actual game buttons. I feel like I have messed with every possible setting at this point like drivers, assigning button profiles in Retroarch, and messing with Steam controller settings in controller options. In summary, does anyone have any additional advice on how to fix this? Also, if a different controller like an Xbox 360 one works better for these things, I am willing to switch to those at this point. Thanks for the help!
