  1. That worked! Thanks!!! LaunchBox\Images\Media Packs\Platform Icons\Nostalgic Platform Icons\Playlists But the Directory you gave me is a little off. I don't think I am using legacy. What does that mean?
  2. Just so we are on the same page, if I want the same icon as the Sega Genesis icon in the nostalgic folder you have, but I have a playlist called "Genesis USA" without the quotes, what should I name it, and where should I put it after copying? Thanks for your patience.
  3. So new folder or no longer supported? If still supported, any size or naming conventions needed? Ok I am reading further, so how are playlist icons supported, having a hard time understanding.
  4. Has it changed? Or is it the process I found on Reddit?
  5. Thanks, reinstall worked, but also, upon looking through the options I think I found something. I might have had kiosk mode on before. Don't kill me. If I did, I hope someone who had the problem before sees this.
  6. Online Updater is missing in the version installed in the Launchbox folder.
  7. Hmm, I can still load and save, and cheats are still there, just no folders. Can I just copy and paste the retroarch I have? I have downloaded a lot of goodies into that one. TY
  8. No online update, also cheats folders are missing, among other things. The standalone Retroarch I have is not missing any of this. Can someone help me fix this? TY
  9. Cannot connect.
  10. I have a folder full of installed games that were not installed vis launchers. How do I browse and add them? TYVM
  11. Works for me, just being lazy. I had another unrelated question. But I will ask in a new post so folks who need help on that topic can find it there. THX again!!
  12. So no matter what, I have to load empty mame to get to general settings to do what you have shown in your picture. Got it. Is there anyway to add a MAME shortcut to the Launchbox for lazy peeps such as myself? 😜
  13. I mean, how do I find the save settings option once in mame? I can't seem to even find general settings anymore. This is wacky. BRB Bathroom and a smoke.
  14. Are you sure? Because I think that might have changed. I go into Tab, then where?
  15. How do I get to general settings from Launchbox? If I click open a game, I can't seem to get back to it. Or do I have to open mame from its folder, old school style?
  16. Thanks, is there a way for people to do this themselves? I don't want to have to bug anyone again if I lose that file. For now, it seems like an unorthodox way to do things. 🙃
  17. Hey, it works, TY! Seems to have my controls intact too. And I love the filters. Are those all you added? So has anyone figured out what this problem is?
  18. But I made general settings all across the board to the controls, like Player one coins etc. And those saved. No Mame INI. I even checked and deleted an INI from another instance of MAME I use for a cabinet which is the same place my roms are stored, to no avail. Where could it be?
  19. I don't understand, it's obviously running some ini because it has automatically saved changes to the things like the controls and video settings. Where could this be?
  20. Do I run a command line inside the ini folder? And I may come across as thick, but how do I run a command line inside a folder again? Thanks!! I tried changing the dir, but that didn't work.
  21. I had this issue before, and I cannot change settings like video effects without the ini. Any help will be great. I will return in a few hours. Just so you know I did not post and run.
  22. Well, I guess I can just print the INI file from Mame and do them one by one. Thanks though!
  23. Ok, I fixed it easy, just pointed Mame to use the installation I have been using before I added Arcade. All is well.
  24. My normal MAME has a different control scheme, such as the left and right thump stick deposit quarters and start, LB doesn't do that, it uses select and start. There is no Mame.ini in the MAME that is installed in the LB folder that I can overwrite. How can I fix this, please?
