Greetings, Currently I'm trying to configure the RX-78 with MAME, as all sources point to that is what I should be doing. I'm at my wits end as I have done everything according to this website here: ((LINKED REMOVED)) Forgive me if I can not post such a thing, I'm merely just giving a reference. Thanks in advance.

So, I just tried this setting, and other than more notifications popping up as usual, nothing changed.

I kind of wanted to avoid DS4 since on some games if you turn it on then the controller acts like you're pressing the buttons twice and it's a headache. But, I did do your suggestion on the copy and paste thing and no luck on that. Thanks though

Hello, Everything works as it should, I just can't find a solution on how to get the second controller working. When I do, I am hit with the dreaded JOY0_ANL3_KEY- I'm using a PS4 controller, Dinput. If there is already a solution for this, forgive me, please direct me to the right thread. Thank you.

Ok, this is just weird. I did Mednafen standalone, dragged the cue to the exe and it works. So, I'm like ok this guy knows what he is talking about. Then, go to double click it on LB and it works also!! I don't get it

Through Launchbox, I can't just double click Mednafen and a lovely interface like LB pops up. Like I said I searched and saw that thread, I just figured it would be resolved by now.

Ok, hello all, it's been a bit since I've had a problem, but here it is. First off with Mednafen, so ALL my Sega Saturn games work, they are not bad dumps, I have played them accordingly. The problem is (and I have looked for this on here but there wasn't really a solution in my favor) after a one time use (like I dub click a game and play it on Mednafen, very smoothly) it won't play anymore it goes to system settings. In order for me to play it again I have to install a fresh Mednafen and delete the old one. It gets bothersome binding the controls everytime and doing that, so can someone help? The other with wiki and the metadata, is it won't connect but used to, now it just says error, could someone help with that? yes i have searched on here.

I wish I could with that, Everytime I use demul, the load game screen pops up through LB, is there a default configuration line I should know about? I use the "-run =Naomi -rom=" but that's not good enough so I dunno. For Dreamcast I use standalone redream. Also since we're on Naomi do you know a way to get "dat" files to play , tried that and the last that came with it and nothing

Thanks JJ but I'm afraid you didn't read correctly, I have these same files on a separate RetroArch, that I am only using for Naomi and they work fine. There's a file(s) preventing me from running it in the other one.

Well thanks for your fact anyway lordmonkus, I shall start removal of certain bios files tonight to test my theory in this estranged crisis.

Then lordmonkus how is it not recognizing them when they're the same ones I put in the new installation of RA, there has to be something conflicting it from loading up

OK, so I have my normal RetroArch and LB set up as always and everything is updated and it's full of all the necessary Bios files, well for some strange reason, I can not get reicast to work in that RetroArch so I downloaded a separate RA and just put the Naomi Bios files that are assigned for it to work so reicast would work in that one, and they did. So my real question is , can you have too many Bios files in the system folder or are there conflicting Bios files that won't make a emulator launch? This is probably the problem I had with the name and mess emulators when I couldn't get neo Geo CD to work. Sorry if this has been asked before

with that being said, i'm using mame's 0.206 for my arcade games, as well as the neo geo arcade games, so, i don't get it either or the numbered sets

i am unaware of the dome of pleasure but i do go to "paradise" to get most of my things

OK, i've downloaded different bios set (even has the japan neo geo cd) and also a few different roms from very trusted websites. Same thing is happening. I'm just wondering before I throw in the towel, do I need to do something within MAME to make the bios' show up like so

i shall download some new roms and we'll see how that works

So, only change is the cmd box comes up for a millisecond on mame

and nothing pops up

Yes, I'm going to try with 3 other random games and see if this works.

Well they are bin and cue files and I don't exactly know if they work or not but everywhere I downloaded from has the right file size.
