But reading your plan, all the games in ARCADE work. What if we just do the CHDs?

I was thinking of that but all the games (not in the ARCADE) need to be removed one by one Unless there is way to select multiple or edit a ini file.

The ZIP files are in the C drive and the CHDs are in the D drive. Is there a way to get it to work that way or do i need to move the ZIP filed (which are in the C drive to the folder where the CHDs are located (D drive)? PS i did use the import function. Should I try again or do i need to fix the other issue before.

The other problem I have is that when in installed everything. I tried to import the CHDs but that caused the CHD files to be added at the root (see image). How to i remove them? I just want to keep the ARCADE.

Here is my setup. LAUNCHBOX installed on C drive MAME installed on C drive MAME ROMs installed C:\MAME\MAME 0.287 ROMs (merged) ========files are in ZIP format (no directories) MAME CHDs installed D:\MAME 0.287 CHDs (merged) ======all CHD files in their own folders I tried moving the ZIP in the directory of the CHD but still get error saying some files (other than the actual CHD) are missing. What am I missing.

i tried the Mame Tools plugin and MAME Troubleshooter but do see what the problem could be.

I used the import function in LAUNCHBOX to add the CHD and it put them in the root and yet they still do not start. What is the proper way of adding CHDs in an existing LAUNCHBOX set up? My MAME ROMs are in the C drive as is my LAUNCHBOX application. My CHD ROMS are in the D drive .

Hi everyone, I recently had my LAUNCHBOX-MAME arcade M.2 drive crash. I had to purchase another drive and re-install EVERYTHING. I installed LAUNCHBOX and MAME 287 with the ROMs. Everything working perfectly. Then I proceeded to add the CHD roms but instead of putting them in the ARCADE section it put them in the root and I can't seem to get them to work. What am I doing wrong?

Hi everyone, i recently upgrade from 227 to 263. i had some pretty nasty hiscores on certain games, is there a way to copy them to 263? If yes then what file and location?

Where is the place I specify the ROM folders? In MAME or LAUNCHBOX?

I have the 263 ROM set working, but I also have the CHDs. Problem is i need to put the CHD on an external drive, hence a different directory, how can i do this, Is this a MAME config or Launchbox config thinggy?

yes, multiple times. Close Launchbox/Bigbox navigate to Launchbox/Themes/Default and delete the themesettings.xml there and try starting Bigbox. Once i was able to delete it BIGBOX now starts, the issue is that i cannot launch anything. It says loading then goes back to game menu. I think it has to do with file rights but i am not certain.

OK let me state that i have setup Launchbox and BIGBOX in the past where everything worked perfectly. Ran into an issue where BIGBOX did not want to start (not certain if it was after a WIN10 update or Launchbox update). Was told to delete a certain XML file and that fixed the issue. Fast forward a couple of months, ran into the same issue again. Went to delete the XML file and said it did not have the rights. Tried playing around with admin rights and gave up. Now just go an email about new version of Launchbox and i said lets give it a go again, Ran into the same issue. Not certain what i did with the permissions but not BIGBOX runs but when i select a game it says launching and then come back to previous menu. \ It does this for Launchbox and BIGBOX. Need help as i miss my arcade. I have DISCORD if needed.

I am a PREMIUM customer and use LAUCHBOX/BIGBOX. Not certain when issue started, maybe after Windows 10 update, but i haven't been able to use BIGBOX. Been pushing it off for a while now. Lauchbox works perfectly, when i start BIGBOX i get the following error message. Can you help me? I really miss my arcade.
