  1. I got it working. Thank you!
  2. Thank you! I will give it a shot.
  3. My arcade cabinet is powered by a Windows 10 PC and I just added a light gun to my setup. I want to play gun games like Virtua Cop and House of the Dead. I know that I have two options for emulation, but I am having problems setting up both. First, I tried the Model 2 Emulator. After downloading the file and trying to setup, it told me I was missing d3dx9_42.dll. I found the file and added it to my System32 folder in Windows, but still no luck. I can’t seem to get past this. Second, I tried Saturn emulation. I saw somewhere that medfanen was the emulator of choice for Saturn, but I can’t figure out how to setup the gun. If anyone has any insights on either, I’d love to hear it. Thanks.
  4. I am using no intro naming. i removed the save configuration option on exit from Retroarch. The file names all appear to be in sync. Even if a few emulators aren’t working, I’m still in a better place than I was yesterday.
  5. I used the new Retroarch to build and setup my emulators with bezels in the following order: SNES Genesis NES Playstation Sega 32X Bezels for SNES and Genesis working fine. NES ones always open with Donkey Kong Country (which was the first SNES rom I tested). PlayStation also opens with Donkey Kong Country bezel. 32X appears to work properly. Looks like I am close to having this solved. Thanks!
  6. Did a fresh build of RetroArch on a different drive. Only installed SNES 9x and then installed SNES bezels. It was successful. What’s the recommended next step? Do I overwrite my Retroarch directory on the C drive with this fresh build?
  7. That’s accurate. Definitely Retroarch-specific because MAME is working well.
  8. I removed all directories and files related to SNES from my config folder and then reran the installer. Still not getting anything. I still get that configuration override notice in the bottom left when I load a rom file. I don’t use any special command line instructions.
  9. thank you. As a test, I used the installer for SNES but did not have any success. I should add that when I load a rom, I get a configuration override message. Not sure what file is doing the override. Here is that config folder you asked for.
  10. Thank you! Cores used: snes9x_libretro quicknes_libretro genesis_plus_gx_libretro pcsx_rearmed_libretro My Retroarch is version 1.7.7. I will also look at the installer you referenced.
  11. Sadly, I went through the thread with no luck. My cfg files appear to be mapping correctly but the bezels don’t appear. I installed the bezels using the .exe on the github page. Oddly enough, the arcade bezels work great.
  12. Thank you! I have done most of the stuff recommended on the first few pages, but will finish reading the posts later today.
  13. As a long-term project, I built an arcade cabinet using the Xtension kit and hardware and a custom PC. It has been a fun ride while trying to get this working. I’m using Big Box as my front end and really love the presentation. Over time, I intend to add more and more bells and whistles. One of these days I will properly wire my coin slots. For now, I have been stonewalled by the Bezel Project. I set it up in MAME and it works great. I also set it up in Retroarch for some consoles (NES, SNES Genesis), but they are not working. I initially noticed that the file names didn’t match, so I grabbed a no intro SNES set and imported them to LaunchBox, but the bezels still aren’t working. I assume this is an issue inside my Retroarch settings, but I have come up empty so far. I recall turning the bezel option on, but no dice. Does anyone know of anything else I can check? I recently got Golden Tee Fore 2005 running on my setup, but there is no bezel displayed. The bezel shows the shot information, so it is critical. I figured I would check for a bezel file, but I couldn’t find them anywhere in my MAME directory. Does anyone know where those files are stored? Thanks!
