  1. Don't be a dingus like me and watch the tutorial carefully y'all. (Probably would solve like half of the problems on the forums tbh)
  2. HELL YEAH! FINALLY IT WORKS So apparently I actually skipped a major step in the process, I rewatched the video and instead of just listening I watched it entirely. Turns out I didn't assign the platform any emulator as seen in the video. I thought setting up the emulator by itself was enough. Well, at the end of the day the only problem I had was myself. Kinda like life Thanks everyone for your help, especially the portable RA stuff (Has way more features than the installer ver).
  3. I meant it automatically created a fba collection inside of RA itself, although it wasn't really important. Roms are finishing up...
  4. Currently re-importing roms and system rn hopefully it works
  5. Alright weirdly enough RA only adds the bootlegs and hacks to a playlist, but finally I got Portable RetroArch running along with the cores and the games. Re-add Retroarch to LB, everything looks good, and start up a game. Nothing. Seriously don't know what to do at this point. Now Retroarch and Launchbox are in the same directory but still nothing changed.
  6. Yeah I found one of the nightlys in the buildbot page. Everything extracting and working. Except it's not detecting roms. *Sigh* I'll make a post when I get it working.
  7. Yes I download it. There's only the exe and the debug app.
  8. It's my potato of a gaming PC. It's one of my dad's 10(?) year old server computers with an i3 and a Gtx 950. It runs Tekken 7 better than my PS4 that's for sure.
  9. Oh no, I was just experimenting. (Still new to LB) I've sinced checked it, and still nothing.
  10. Sorry I'ma have to work on this later today. In the meanwhile though, what other files do I need for the RA portable? It keeps saying I'm missing a dll and when I put it in the folder the application gives an error and won't run.
  11. Sorry bout that. I screenshot the wrong folder. (Should've added captions) here's the actual folder. And it's parent folder...
  12. It's looking in the platform folder in Launchbox. Followed that to a T yesterday, might try again later today just in case. Yes, they do work in Retroarch. With FBA 2012, FBA 2012Neo Geo, and Mame cores. I see your point, not sure what to do from here though. I unchecked read only...no dice.
  13. Just started messing around with Launchbox after waiting for so long. Impressed with all the work that goes into the app and my other games (Steam and PS2) run as expected. Then here comes Retroarch. First it was the Metadata not being associated with each rom, but I fixed all that one by one. After countless hours of experimentation, I still can't get Neo Geo games running worth jack. With Retroarch FBAlpha 2012 Neo Geo btw, cause that's the only one that runs in Retroarch for me other than MAME. Cores and Roms are in their respective folders as far as I know. Even reinstalled all the cores, and updated the info files and everything like the new Retroarch Tutorial on the LB YT channel. I'm getting real tired of this loop. Help would be tremendously appreciated. Screenshots below (Sorry for quality)
