  1. That's the conclusion I was leaning toward but was hoping that I might be wrong. Guess I'll just have to plan on running it overnight for a while to get things updated. The API to pull it directly into LB is excellent for ease of use...just wish it was faster. Thanks for confirming my thoughts.
  2. Perfect, that is exactly what I was looking for. I'll dig into those folders and files in more detail when I get back to that machine. Is there any public documentation for the folder/file structure of LB and what the individual .xml files control? I'm thrilled to get answers, but I'm also more than happy to do the reading and gain the knowledge too.
  3. Current Build: Imported a MERGED MAME full set. Have gone through and deleted games in LB that are not working or that I have no interest in playing. Now only 1500 Titles. Obviously the roms themselves still exist but the entries in LB have been deleted so they do not clutter up the build. Goal: Move to a new computer and fresh LB install. Have LB only import or show these 1500 titles so I do not have to go through and delete the games that I don't want in my collection. Question: What files need to be backed up from the current build in order to have the new install of LB only "import" those 1500 titles and not the entire romset? Ideally this will keep all of the artwork and video paths for each game (I do recognize that those locations may need to be updated and the video and art themselves will also need to be moved to the new install). Additionally, is there a list or documentation somewhere that lists all of the .xml files and .ini files for LB, their locations, and what they are used for?
  4. Assume the following: Nintendo Entertainment System - Roms have been pruned to be less than a full set. All have been imported into LB and are working. Some have art downloaded already, no video clips exist at this point. Goal: Update art for all Roms and have video clips for use in big box for all titles. Question: If I download the art and videos from the EMUMovies FTP (Fast) and then copy the data to the proper LB folder, will I then need to edit each ROM within LB to link the videos or is there a way to force LB to update the roms with the proper video path and images? (ideal) If there is no way to force LB to fill in the video path etc, is it better to just download the videos and missing art from within LB even though it is slower? This would update the path information for the videos automatically, and I don't have to also deal with deleting any videos or art that are for titles I don't have in my romset. (slow) Other ideas in how to best do this?
