Please ignore I figured this out. Would have deleted the above post but not sure how to do it?

I have DS4windows and a PS4 controller. ePSXe emulator works fine as a standalone. When I click on the "options" button on the PS4 controller which i believe acts as the start button, all my games start (i.e jumps thru all the ps video to the start menu of the game). HOWEVER if i launch the game through BigBox, the emulator starts as normal but if i click that same button it now it quickly goes to the start menu of the game (as expected) but then immediately closes the emulator (like i had pushed escape) and takes me back to BigBox. What am I doing wrong here?

This is the PC version.

Resolved my own issue. I turned off show BigBox Splashscreen from the BigBox Options Menu and now it loads BigBox 5 or 6 seconds after the video ends which is quite acceptable for me.

Did you guys ever come up with a solution for this? It happens on my PC as well. When i open Daytona USA from BigBox I get taken to the Redream Menu page and I need to select Daytona USA from there to run/start it. Daytona USA is the only Dreamcast Game I have so I dont know if it happens with any other games. By the way I am also unable to close the Redream Emulator from my PS4 controller. Im currently forced to close it from a keyboard. Any solutions for that?

Firstly, i do apologize as I have seen this topic posted elsewhere on the forum but I just simply didnt understand the answer (or even if there was one), so please dont flame me. When using BigBox and launching Daytona USA from the Dreamcast Menu I always land on the menu screen of Redream instead of it loading the game. Is there a way to actually load the game directly? Also, I cant escape out of the ReDream Emulator using my PS4 game pad. I have the premium version of Launchbox and I have mapped controller keys using the playstation button as the Back Button and clicking the options and start button together to escape but I cant get out of ReDream without using my keyboard. I have mapped several different button combinations but nothing seems to work. Thanks Kindly

I had posted this in the Noobs section, because I am indeed a Noob, however i didnt get any responses. My BigBox is very slow to launch. I only have 4 platforms and about 9 games BUT my PC is old and so that doesnt surprise me. It takes about a minute to load. So I installed the Comix Theme which i love. And then i used the Comix Start video thinking that would be better than look at the BigBox logo for 50 seconds. Sure enough, i still had about 20 seconds of just black screen from the time the video ended until BigBox launched. So I edited the video to run for a minute. However, i still have a 20 second black screen between end of video? So bit the bullet and created a 90 second start video..........and I still have a 20 second black screen at end of video until BigBox launch. Is there some setting I need to switch on/off in BigBox? It feels like I could have a 20 minute start video and I would still have this 20 seconds delay? Thank you

My BigBox startup is very slow. I'm using an old PC so this doesnt surprise me. However, because it was taking so long to start I decided to use the Comix Startup video. It wasnt long enough and i still had a 20 second, or so, black screen after the video completed. SO, i made a longer start up video to cover about 50 seconds. Used this but I still had a 20 second, or so, black screen after. I had just signed up for the premium emumovies and had added videos so I figured thats why. So to cover all my bases i created a 90 second startup video. Guess what? Still have approx 20 seconds of black screen after video before my BigBox Comix Theme has loaded. What am I missing here? Is there a timer setting or something in BigBox? Doesnt seem to matter how long my startup video is, there is an approx 20 second delay?

Im very new to this so please forgive any stupid questions. I have noticed on some YouTube demos of BigBox that rather than static images behind some screens that there is videos of platforms/games running etc. Where are these coming from and how do we get them? Are these available only if you a premium subscriber to emumovies? Also I installed the BigBox Comix Theme and the top left box is blank. I suspect this is where game video would be playing? So just wondering how to get that working? Thanks ?
