Yes it all is working perfectly. you just need to make sure you move it the the folder I listed above

I found out how to do this, I just needed to move launchbox to the folder on the SD card /Android/data/com.unbrokensoftware.launchbox/files Works perfectly now

I have a question about how to put the movies on my SD card. I recently installed the 1.0 update and love that we can now use movies but the issue for me is storage. My device only has 32GB of internal storage (retroid pocket 2 +) so I want to move them to my SD card (have a 400GB sd card). I have my SD card set up as portable storage so I can place my rom collection on my sd card. I used a file manager to copy the contents of the Launchbox folder and copied them over to my sd card. When I go to the options to chose data folder and change it to my SD card I keep getting the error that the directory is not set up to allow read/write permissions in Android. I am thinking this is because I have the SD card set up as portable storage and not as storage for apps. I really need it set up as potable storage as I have my roms on the SD card as portable storage. Does anyone now I way around this? Is there a way to give read/write permission to the launchbox folder that is now on my SD card?
