  1. Yeah I didn’t know about it affecting other front ends which of course means it’s not a launchbox issue. the crappy thing is that dolphin mmjr, according to the developer, isn’t going to be updated again so…this is likely what we’re stuck with.
  2. I’m using an Odin pro. If I launch a gamecube game through launchbox, once in the game if I go to load a save state, I’ll see none available to load. if I load that same game in dolphin mmjr outside of launchbox, I see save states just fine. i did a little testing, and if I make save state after launching with LB, it will in fact save that state: I just can’t see it until I launch the game directly from the emulator. this…is a pretty big bummer, I hope it can be fixed soon
  3. I figured it out. I (like a moron) had renamed my SNES platform to "Nintendo SNES". The core association was sr\ill for Super Nintendo Entertainments System. Reverted, and now it's working, thanks for the help!
  4. Retro808, I did all that. Everything appears correct: Snex9x is listed as default emulator in RA (inside LB), and that core is up to date in retroarch.
  5. and the crazy thing is, SNES used to work too. Now, it doesn't mater if I'm in LB or BB, trying to launch a SNES game just doesn't work. I thought it must have been retroarch, so I deleted my config and started over, same results: other cores work fine, but I can't launch SNES from within LB/BB. Launching SNES from Retroarch works just fine. Any ideas? I really don't know what I could have changed within LB to make this happen, I'm really confused. For reference, I'm using the snes9x core, but tried others, none work. Thanks all.
  6. Perfect, that's exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks!
  7. I like the "normal" favorites list which includes all platforms. But I'd also like to be able to go into, say, Atari 2600, and In there be able to select favorites that are only for Atari 2600. Is this possible? Thanks.
  8. Will do. What exactly does the "EXIT" hotkey do in BB again? I'm not sure I understand it exactly. Thanks.
  9. YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARDS!!!!! That was it. I had nothing mapped to close active window. THANK YOU!!!! Is it bad for me to leave "EXIT" mapped as well?
  10. It has 2 controllers listed there: they both work, but unfortunately neither work for the exit hotkey in PCSX2
  11. Ok, took it off admin. First, my LB controller hotkey settings: here's my BB controller automation settings; So from within LB, I launched "bully" for PS2. Once gameplay starts, I hit select+start on my gamepad (my button 7&8) and the game exits super clean. I switch to BB, do the same exact thing, and when I hit the 2 buttons, it takes me to an in-game menu. There's no way for me to quit without using the keyboard.
  12. That's funny you should ask. Yes, I think I am, because when I was troubleshooting this online, there was a thread that stated running it in admin would fix the issue, so I enabled that. Should I take it out of admin? Thanks.
  13. I understand that. I was responding to this: "LB and BB have their own/separate controller automation sections. If you enable it, and setup the exit hotkeys in LB, it won't work in BB until you also set it up in there as well." One of the reasons to get Big Box is to get the global hotkeys for shutdown, unless I have my facts wrong. Anyhow, it doesn't matter, in the end I did have this set up and exiting PCSX2 still isn't working.
