Ah thank you! Was having this same issue, did not realize this new feature had been added. Many thanks for the heads up!
Came here for the same thing. I was starting to trip out since the audio returns once you interact with the cabinet. haha. Glad I find this post.

I have found out how to do it in CTC but I can't manually add it to the existing xaml code. In the new version of Neon Deluxe Arcade (which will be out within a few weeks) I add both 12hr and 24hr clocks to make everyone happy.
Amazing thank you! I will certainly revisit then...We truly appreciate your hard work!

Sorry I used to know this but now I can't find out how to do it.
Dang okay thanks was really hoping to be able to use this one.

Please excuse me if this has been asked elsewhere but is there anyway to change the time to a US style 12hr format instead of the universal military/24hr format?
-
Have been watching this thread for over a year now...I as well hope this is added in the future if a work around hasn't been found.

if i posted in the incorrect thread i apologize.

Marquees working fine in my cabinets. I do not think anything was changed in the betas that would have affected it. At least looking at the notes. Did you try to reinstall beta 11.7?
Yeah it’s strange. Dropping back to 11.6 restores functionality of the marquee in multiple themes and platforms. It’s not an issue with marquee placement either. The program does not identify the second monitor as a marquee for me on 11.7 B6. I have not tried a fresh install though. I’m sure that will fix it was just sharing that it was odd especially considering the program will recognize it if you change the primary option.
-
I posted this in the wrong beta post. Sorry about that
Updated to 11.7 B6 and the marquee screen option no longer works at all. Strangely enough the primary screen option above it does and allows me to switch the secondary screen (cabinet marquee screen) to primary. The screen used for marquee never changes when BigBox is open from the desktop background to the previously set marquee images. Changing the marquee screen option from 1 to 2 to none has no effect. This issue did not take place before the update from 11.6.
-- issue was quickly resolved by reinstalling 11.6 from the updates folder.

I face the same issue after exiting in BigBox where bigbox.exe has to be closed manually before it or launchbox can be reopened
-
After upgrading I am now receiving the following error on BigBox startup but after alt-tabing and closing the error things seem to function. I did not see this particular error mentioned

It's possible, but animation config changes would need to be made. You can do this by knowing where to look in the specific xaml file of the view you want to change.
Alternatively, I'll need to get around to releasing the COMMUNITY Theme Creator files for this theme, then you can use the theme creator to make the changes you want and build your own custom version of the theme.
Either way, you would need to fiddle around with the theme in order to accomplish the changes that you want.
Okay I will start poking around in the xaml's and see what I can find. Thank you for responding

Bueller? @faeran lol just kidding. Hopefully what I am asking about makes sense though.

Absolutely love the combination of Banner Box (main) and CoverBox as my platform themes and was wondering if someone could help me make a minor tweak?
So currently if you leave the selection on an individual platform using BannerBox as the main theme after about 10 seconds or so it will highlight that specific banner and then show the number of games for that platform...My issue is that all the banners are so similar that outside of the current selection being dead in the middle it is sometimes hard to differentiate between which one your selecting until the highlight transition takes effect. Is there anyway to speed up the highlight time or add a different effect during scrolling? I am familiar enough with the setup myself that I know what is going on but I figured this would help my son and his friends when they are navigating through it all

Well that is handy...I have the Tankstick and it only has the red indicator light. I did recently have an issue with the buttons not working at all and they sent me an entirely new PCB free of charge so there is that...Glad you got it working. If you have issues in other emulators you can use AutoHotKey or directly in Launchbox itself and do something like
Mbutton::Esc which will make that middle mouse button act as the esc key.

Thanks - that worked. I knew I was missing something simple - had to set a key to change the theme.

Is there a way to use Coverbox for all platforms except Arcade?
Also what platform videos do you guys use along with CoverBox?
I am not right at my system right now but yes you can set a different theme for each platform as well as the main menu. You can set a button in the settings to change theme and change view and these changes are made independently instead of changing the entire theme. Just go inside the platform you would like and hit one of the buttons you set to either change view or change the theme for that platform entirely. My current setup by memory is
main menu > BannerBox
Platforms except arcade > Coverbox
Arcade > Unified Redux

A new version is up on Github, 1.1.12.1.
I rolled back the lay file changes I had made. Hopefully this gets things back on track. Thanks for reporting this.
Absolutely and amazing response time...Thanks for doing what you do!

Download NotePad++ and do a "find and replace" - it will search through all *.lay files in a folder and replace the wrong attributes.
Awesome this worked perfectly...I am having to change some of the attributes to have the display actually take up the whole faux monitor like right=12 to right=14 but with this method it's so much quicker. Thanks very much!

Your post pushed me to update my bezel set, I think there is a bug in the latest Bezel Project installer - it is generating invalid LAY files. I'm not sure if this related to your problem.
Try to do a find and replace of your LAY files for Width = Right and Height = Bottom in the LAY files.
Just tested this with the WrestleFest entry and you hit the nail on the head...The screen index section still had width and height and after making the changes it booted right up. Unfortunately there is no way i am going to go make that edit on every single one of these lol

so I have a native mame (.165) install with a full romset and a bezel pack from emumovies' ftp that works fine under my artwork folder (just not the greatest quality and no structure between roms. Allin zip files) but once the bezel project is installed (these are moved to the bpsave folder) no game will launch. Mame just hangs with a black screen. If the artwork folder is renamed all games work again. Any suggestions please?

Any responsiveness issues i had prior to 12.14 are now completely gone. There seemed to be lag going from the main menu (bannerbox) to the platforms (coverbox) and the screen would sit on the console splash for a noticeable time (w10, 750ti, 16gb ram) as well as slowdown with the startup of video clips...This is completely gone and it truly feels like it is now running from the SSD as prior there wasn't much of a differential between mechanical or otherwise.
Going on roughly three years as a customer now (i pay the yearly fee to continue to support) and I can say this may be the best BigBox update yet. I have now tested it on two other windows builds with lesser specs and it's just as snappy. Great job guys and thank you!
