while I do sometimes use controllers, at this point none are hooked up. I only have joysticks hooked up through a ipac keyboard encoder.

My dedicated arcade cabinet has been up and functional for a few years, but the other day it did something new. The system boots into bigbox, and it was quickly scrolling through the wheel without any intervention. I thought a key/joystick might be stuck, or a wiring issue, but I couldn't find anything. Same issue after multiple reboots. Now it gets weird. If I close bigbox and open any other app, everything behaves fine. But if I open launchbox (not bigbox), my cursor immediately starts pulling to the upper right corner. I can't fight it enough to use it, it pulls to quick to upper right. Clicking outside of the app onto desktop stops the issue and it behaves normally. But if launchbox gets the focus again it starts again. What would cause this sudden phantom scrolling? Its only in launchbox/bigbox. I did a full backup restore of all the XMLs from a few days ago, but it didn't help. I cant figure it out. Any ideas?

Lol, it's like me to way over think and over complicate something simple. I forgot there are art packs not just for LB. Downloaded a pack from emumovies and it worked great! Still not a fan of cpwizard for generating art, wish there was something a little newer. And the controls.xml files I found are years out of date. Oh well, it works for most.

So I am trying to use cpwizard to generate some dynamic images of my control panel with button labels for all my mame games, which I will then use with a launchbox pause theme. But cpwizard is really old and clunky at this point. (If anyone knows a better tool I'm listening. There is some newer scripts people have made on retropi forums but I'm not a pi guy) Anyway, I want to use the clear logos I have. Unfortunately cpwizard only supports mame format art, which is all by rom name. I have a copy of all my clear art in launchbox format (long game name -01) and I'd like to rename them all to the rom name, so I can pull them into cpwizard. Does anyone know of a script or simple way to accomplish this?
