  1. I tried these before work this morning. I got about 65% of the games I tried to work, so it is trending in the right direction. I will keep tweaking it as I get time. Thank you for the help on that! Btw I cannot believe I didn't realize dinput was on the command line again. It asks by default if I want to add it every time I save the settings, so I must have missed it.
  2. I had an issue regarding MAME running after moving from Maximus Arcade to Launchbox. I installed a Radeon HD5450 to help a bit with load times ( I was using the onboard graphics previously) The original issue had to do with dinput not being compatible with my MAME 1.61. Too old, they said. It was a great fix. I then plugged the PC back into my cabinet and reconnected my ipac-4 control board and had an issue where, once I run a game, it immediately backs out of the game and BigBox just says "Game Over." Same with LaunchBox. I can run the games just fine through mame64 which I use as the emulator file. So I am assuming there is something going on with the ipac-4 controls and I have some screenshots I am posting to provide insight but I am lost. Any help is greatly appreciated. I also went into MAME and configured the controls through there. Admittedly I took a lot of time away from this due to a variety of family issues as well as the crippling anxiety of 2020+ But I woke up one day and said screw it, if I can't get off my butt and fix my arcade, then what am I?
  3. This was the original pic but I fixed it based on what was recommended and it worked fine. I was told to delete the keyboard provider dinput parameter
  4. I posted not too long ago about mame running outside of BB/LB but not in it. Thanks to another user, I got it working while plugged into the computer and a simple USB keyboard/mouse combo. Well, I got it working by altering some things in the settings, but now that I have moved it back into the cabinet and plugged in the 4 player iPAC control panel, every time I try to access a game from BB/LB now, it starts, then immediately exits/stops and/or crashes. I need to go to work but will be able to get a screen grab of any settings later tonight if anybody needs it. I would greatly appreciate any help here, I bought the lifetime license for this and want to get my money's worth. I did not change any settings. I run mame 1.61 if that helps. Core i3, 4 gb ram, Radeon dedicated graphics card.
  5. True story: The cabinet is in a third garage bay in my house which was added on by the previous owners so I had no use for it other than a game room. Built the cabinet from spare parts left behind. When 2020 hit, nobody came around to hangout and the arcade room went to disrepair, eventually being used for storage. I have been unmotivated to do anything about it, and realized the reason was because I had started the reconstruction of the frontend in 2019 and never finished it. I realized the other day I needed to fix Launchbox first before doing any other cleaning could occur, and so it has sat filthy. Until now. It's time to get the arcade back up and lit. Thanks man.
  6. Dude, you are the legend. Had to just leave the whole thing blank on those command lines. Thank you so much man!
  7. Hey Neil, thanks for the quick reply. Regarding the NES, I just learned about Launchbox's ability to choose cores about an hour ago, and will try that once I get NEStopia reinstalled. As for MAME, I am attempting that now and will update.
  8. I moved to Launchbox from Maximus Arcade (which worked fine but I got tired of constantly updating the titles every time I wanted to alter anything) and purchased the full Launchbox package. Running a decent core i3 with 4 GB RAM, onboard Intel graphics and Windows 10. I have not opted to go fullset as I have a specific set of 177 ROMs I want to import for my cabinet. so I attempted to upload the MAME ROMs using the same method you would SNES, SEGA, N64 etc... Those seem to have worked for those systems, but MAME and NES do not. I used Retroarch at first but when that didn't work, I moved to just regular MAME emulator (.161). Troubleshooted after much time on several forums, and ended up just doing a clean install. I started with MAME, and while it seems to import the ROMs and download all the files from EmuMovies, Launchbox just will not run MAME ROMs. I can run them just fine from MAME64, and even from Retroarch with the first MAME core option. But Launchbox just won't do it. I made sure my MAME.ini file points to the same directory as the Launchbox files for the ROMpath. I made sure the emulator file for Launchbox's MAME points to the same directory as the emulator with said .ini file. Not sure what I am doing wrong and would appreciate any help.
