i solved the problem, just used a USA bios and changed the language to italian..... using full boot with an USA bios seems to read pal games (in the I want) and japanese games

Hello there, Since I am using bigbox to play ps2 games from my sofa, I modified the pcsx2 script on launchbox to launch all the game in fool boot. This basically let me play automatically all PAL games in Italian Language, but when I start a NTSC games (USA or Japan games), the emulator doesn't reconize the region and the those games doesn't start. There is a script that let me play PAL games in full boot and the NTCS games in fast boot?

Hi there, I noticed that when I am adding games to launchbox it transform the game name using the " : " to introduce the subtitle. For exambple: "star wars - rebels " became "star wars: rebel". The : is puted just right after the game name, resultin in changing the alphabetical order. So I would like that all my entire gamelist all the double point ( : ) are being removed. How can I do that? Another thing is that I want to change all the roman numbers in arabian one. For example in the final fantasy games are not listed by their chronological order, following the order of the letters ( IX, VI, VII, VI). How can I do that? Thanks you all for the attention.

Hi there, basically I would like to ask one thing. All the console are listed with the brand alphabetical order (exemp: sega dreamcast, nintendo gameboy etc..). While I am on launchbox the list result a bit confuse, because the most of the platform logo (like the sega genegis and nintendo gamecube) have the company name wrote on it, but for example if I go on game gear, the logo doesn't have "Sega Game gear", like the gameboy logo is not "Nintendo Gameboy". So there are some systems logo to download that can gave a better order in the launchbox menu? Another question, there is no logo for neo geo AES and geoo geo pocket/color, why?

Ok guys, I deleted all the files inside the data folder and I imported again all the roms. All the video and files are still there once the games are loaded in launchbox. Now bigbox is using just 800mb of ram and everything is smooth and fast. Thanks

Ok thanks, so how can I use scraper with launch box? I didn't see any option on launchbox to scrape videos with scraper. Like you say I'll try to delete all the xml files from the data folder I try to see what happen

This is another aptent, now launchbox is taking a long time to load and the usage of ram is again super crazy

Thanks for the replyes... actually I am not using a custom launchbox, the only "strange thing" I am doing is to use an external program to scrape the video, the program is called scraper. Actually when I scrape video with this I noticed that the program was doing a backup of the xml file. So a few minutes ago I was navigating around the launchbox folder under data->system folder, and basically each system was having a normal xml file and a backup xml file. I deleted all the backups files and it looks like the program is using much less ram. I don't know if is related or not, but something changed, because now instead of use 95% of ram, now use around 88% on startup.... then after a while the ram usage fall down but sometime get back very high again, resulting in an unstable system. My pc have a i7 10th generation CPU, 16gb of Ram and geforce gtx 1050, is not a super powerfull laptop but is more than enough

Guys, I don't want to be angry, but I spent 30 dollars to buy this frontend that is messing up my computer with a a crazy usage of memory ram, and I would expect a better answer than "you have another problem, launchbox doesn't use this amount of ram". I was using retropie with covers and videos in a very less powerfull laptop and I never get any kind of problem. So if you guys have a bit of customer care please give me some answeer to solve this problem.

This is a capture of my screen, in this moment launchbox is using 11gb or ram.... so what can cause launchbox to do so? Maybe is because the amount of video and images that make it slow?

I am using launchbox a big box, I have something like 8000 games or more, each game scraped with video and boxfront. Now, untill a few hours ago launchbox and bigbox was working fine but I always noticed that the it was using a big amount of ram. Actually my laptop have 16 GB of ram and the usage of launchbox or bigbox require something around 13 and 14 GB. Each time I was looking to run launchbox or bigbox, the program was taking like 6-7 minutes to finally start. Today after I scraped some new games the launchbox and bigbox programs both are just loading for so long time and at the end a message say "the program doesn't respond". I tried many times to rebbot the system but the problem is always there. So what I have to do to make launchbox and bigbox don't use so many ram memory? To me it seems so strange that require so many Ram

Hi, htanks for the quick reply.... actually no, this is not the case, I don't have multiple regions games, it just missing some games without reason. I even tried to add that single specifick game from "add files".... after scanning it the system tell me "0 game imported"

Hi there, after I have imported my roms I notice that a lot of them are missing. For example let's say that I have 900 roms for the sega genesis, after I imported all of them (both via "add files" and "add folder") at least 300 roms are missing.... this happen for many systems. Why? How can I solve this?

Hi there, I am using launchbox/bigbox to play my playstation games. Thte point is that I installed many playstation cores on retroarch, but it seems that when I launch a playstation game the system automatically run beetle-psx, instead I would like to use duckstation as default core. I tried some stuff, I went on the retroarch program, I run duskstation to play a game and than I went to overrayd configuration saving the duckstation emulator to be the main ps emulator, but once I go back to launchbox it automatically run beetle-psx. In the case I delete the beeetle-psx core, the games just don't start. In the case I use bigbox, I go to a game and select "launch with", so I select retroarch and then I just have the option "mednaffen-psx", and can't select other cores. So, how can I use a specific core to run games on launchbox bigbox?

Hi there, I have downloaded with launch box all the metadata like box arts and video, but a certain point, I don't know why, all the metadata disappeared, so now launchbox is listing all my games without any image. In the case I run bigbox all the covers are ok but I can't see any videogameplay of any game, even the systems video on the main weel are missing, resulting in a black screen

Hi there, I bought today a license of launchboc. The problem is that I am not able to run the most of the ps1 games. When scanning for games I let the program to unify the double names roms. Once my ps1 library has been scanned, a few games are able to run, but not the most of them. Some games are in cue/bin files, some are divided in tracks. So how can I let Launchbox/bigbox to read any game without problem? I am using retroarch with beetle-psx
